GOLD FACTS
- On October 8th 1988, LSU played Auburn. Auburn led the entire game 6-0. With less than two minutes in the fourth quarter, a loss for LSU seemed eminent. However, Tommy Hodson drove the team down the field for a touchdown pass to Eddie Fuller on the fourth down! The stadium erupted and the seismograph reading was discovered the next day. To this day, the US Geological Survey has no record of an earthquake on that fateful day however as LSU fans we know what truly happened.
